Good day everyone...I first installed 0.0.5 on my server and after doing the edits, the forum will no longer show.

If I remove the edits from the class_display.php then the forums will show.

I have all the necessary server configs that it takes to run this software.

I then tried using 1.0 Beta, still the same results. Not sure if I need to run the install.php again, however, when I do...all I get is a blank screen.

I finally decided to do a clean install of ipb on a local test server using 2.3.1 and 1.0 Beta...after doing the edits it will not let me run the installer, all I get is an error:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in W:\www\test\sources\classes\class_display.php on line 342

Any thoughts? Thanks.

you didn't edit the index.php or the files have been corrupted.

consult: http://minervaseo.com/Manual.pdf for installation guide

I find it hard to believe that after 3 installs, the files have been corrupted in each install.

Thank you for the link to the install guide, I have done everything...so many times I can probably do it from heart. Something else is wrong...it must be a problem with the edits in the 2.3.1 class_display.

Any ideas?

Guess I will either wait until this is out of Beta or just forget about it.

you missed out a ; at the end of a line.

line 343 and 344 should be:
QUOTE
$this->ipsclass->skin['_wrapper'] = str_replace( "<% CSS %>" , $css.$this->ipsclass->minerva->replace_meta() , $this->ipsclass->skin['_wrapper']);
$this->ipsclass->skin['_wrapper'] = str_replace( "<% JAVASCRIPT %>" , $output_array['JS'] , $this->ipsclass->skin['_wrapper']);

If you are referring to utvwire.com, in the class_display file I tried it both ways...the initial instructions did not have a ; to be included...either way, I have that in there now and it still is a blank screen.

Thanks.
