I'd like to see lighttpd support w/out the use of mod_rewrite.
I've used joomla on lighttpd with a lua clean urls script, it works out of the box with Joomla. Something with IPB might be possible, I'm not a experienced coder so I couldn't do it. http://nordisch.org/2007/2/6/drupal-on-lig...with-clean-urls thats the lua clean url's script, I use lua for rewriting on Wordpress, etc. It's very quick compaired to slow mod_rewrite. We've tested CommunitySEO with our hosting, mod_rewrite rules casued 100's of php processes to be spawned which appeares to be the way they rewrite the html? Does mseo work similar? If so I'd not recomend doing this then because 100's of 0% cpu using php-cgi processes wasts ALL your ram very quickly, sadly the creator of CSEO wouldn't give me more info when I was a beta tester ~_~, I wouldn't buy that script I can give access to lighttpd servers. |
