What do I enable to make it work globally? I found the one where it asks if you want to allow members to use it but it still doesnt work.
 and it says Welcome back; your last visit was .....shouldnt my name be between back and your? I might have screwed it up when installing something. I accidently pulled some folders that were named the same as folders in my root onto my server. |

Those sound like problems from another mod or something. I would re-upload your files for IPB if you haven't installed any other mods and re-apply the edits from minerva.
The second one sounds like a template issue or a lang file issue. What's the link to your board? I don't think you can force your members to use the rich text editor. -------------------- My Site: Mccreations

I actually think it's fine, that's just your lang file and how it's setup. You shouldn't need to re-upload.

What I mean is when I click on a smiley in here it shows up as a gif in here, when I do the same thing in my forum it shows up as text. I think thats the same thing isnt it? or is this a mod that lets images appear in a post?

You can also quickly change between Rich Text and Plain Text by clicking
 in the top right-hand corner of the editing box
