For a long time I have been hoping someone would come out with a mod to make the RSS Feed post date be the current date rather than the date of the RSS Story. Would anyone know how to do this? It seems like it should be quite easy.
Thanks! |

i thought it did work, try using feedburner.com for the feeds as it needs to be in a special date time format

I am talking about incoming feeds that get set up as topics. It back dates them still.

Example:
SEO-News-announcement-blog-entries/837/Please-donaEtmt-send-me-free-stuff/" target="_blank">http://icelabz.net/forum/content/SEO-News-...-me-free-stuff/ Look at the date and time of the post. It is exactly the same as the original blog post it is pulled from. THis presents a problem if you only import say one article once a month from a particular feed. It will back date it to the original post date. What I would like is to modify the function so it just uses whatever the actual time it is posted to the forum as the date/time. Am I making sense? |

Maybe if someone can point me to the right set of files or directories I can take a stab at figuring it out? I just down even know where to start.
