Does this mean that we can change the priority of the articles/topics right here on this view?

After all SEO becomes most efficient if you can set priorities.

no not yet, but that could be a future feature.
but you can set the general priority in the admincp for pinned, closed, etc...

I certainly hope this could be added to the list, it is very important to help yourself tell the bots what you think is most important.

Along with this would be the status change date....will you be adding an option to
1) individually or automatically change updated date for the bots
2) individually or automatically change the created date for the bots



As I understand more about SEO I find these things of extreme importance to Search Engine Optimization in this order

1) that you have a sitemap.xml (which consists of)
_a ) priority number to rank what is most important to you, so that the bots know
_b )date of creation
_c ) date of update
_d ) update status (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, etc...), this is used to tell the bots when to return to harvest new info that is expect to be posted in that time frame.
_e ) auto submission to the major search engines upon updating

2) have friendly URL's

3) similar topics (used for human more than bots, but the circular linking helps them relate content and actually helps you)

4) tagging system (used more for humans than bots)
