Since Minerva SEO uses mod_rewrite for FURL, web browsers and crawlers won't know when the've hit a 404. For instance, if you run:
http://icelabz.net/forum/ in here: http://www.webconfs.com/http-header-check.php, you get: HTTP/1.1 200 OK => And all is well But then, let's say a bot comes along and tries to go to http://icelabz.net/forum/231ewq/ which doesn't exist. The HTTP header for that is: HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently => So wouldn't the search engine keep http://icelabz.net/forum/231ewq/ listed as http://icelabz.net/forum/ and not delete it because it was only redirected and not told it was an error? I'm not sure, but some kind of optional 404 page would be nice either way. Is this at all possible? I know they have this type of thing using mod_rewrite for joomla. -------------------- My Site: Mccreations
